Biostim Probiotic Booster Blocks are 100% natural, non-toxic, slow-release probiotic blocks that improve water quality by stimulating the growth of “good” bacteria.

Each block is composed of bacterial cultures, proteins and amino acids that improve the metabolic activity of “good” (aerobic/oxygen-loving) microorganisms in your aquatic ecosystem, boosting their productivity and growing their populations. Stimulating these “good” bacteria helps improve water quality because these microorganisms remove organic matter and reduce excess nitrogen and phosphorus in water. As well as clearing the water, this nutrient-reduction means there is less food available for pests like algae and aquatic weeds. Plus less organic content in the water means less sludge on the floor.
