Aquatic Weed Killer (5L) — a professional-grade herbicide to tackle floating and emergent aquatic weeds across your dam surface by killing the visible plants.

Biostim Accelerator (5L) — applied at the same time as the weed-killer, this biocatalyst improves herbicide performance (so you may need less chemical) and initiates accelerated microbial action so decaying plant material does not simply sink untreated and become nutrient fodder for new growth.
- Biostim Tablets (10kg) — these sink and slowly feed "good" bacteria which digest the dead weeds and organic debris that settle, as well as the existing sludge. This reduces the nutrients available for future algae problems.

Application / Instructions

Ensure your dam is at a stable water level, remove as many floating weeds as possible (skimming or netting helps), and ensure any inflows or nutrient inputs are controlled.

Apply the Aquatic Weed Killer (5L) evenly across the affected surface, following label instructions for mixing and dosage.

Immediately apply the Biostim Accelerator (5L) across the surface. This helps the herbicide perform better and starts the microbial cleanup.

Two days after the chemical treatment, apply the Biostim Tablets (10kg) by scattering across the surface so they sink. These will feed beneficial microbes that digest the decaying plants and reduce nutrient levels.

Continue ongoing maintenance: Continue to apply Biostim Tablets monthly. Ideally aerate the water with an aerator.
FAQs
Q: Can I just use the weed killer and skip the microbial part?
A: We wouldn't recommend this. Without the microbial clean-up phase, the dead weed mass will settle and turn into nutrient-rich sludge that can fuel new weed growth. This bundle gives you both the knock-down and the cleanup.
Q: When will I see results?
A: You should begin seeing dead floating weeds within hours of the herbicide and Biostim Accelerator application. The full benefit—reduced sludge, fewer regrowth cycles and long-term clarity—can take months for the microbial system to establish itself and nutrient levels to drop.
Q: Is it safe for fish, stock and wildlife?
A: Yes, when used according to label instructions. Read the label on the weed killer carefully and ensure you follow guidelines and withholding periods. Use PPE. Do NOT overdose. For the Biostim, these products are 100% natural and completely safe for plants, fish, livestock drinking, pets, swimming etc.
Q: What if my dam is heavily infested?
A: If you have a very thick mat of weeds covering almost all the surface, we recommend physically removing as much as possible before applying the bundle. For very large systems you may need a larger volume or follow-up treatments.

Although rare, in this situation we will need to manually add the additional shipping costs prior to dispatch. Returns
Goods purchased from Love My Dam are unable to be returned without first reaching out to us and requesting a return. Unfortunately, returns cannot be made for pond and dam liners. No returns can be accepted unless a copy of the purchase invoice is enclosed with the returned item/s. Along with the goods and invoice, please include a list of the goods to be returned, including the product description, quantity, date of return and the customer’s name and address. The items must be returned in the original packaging. Freight charges for returns must be paid by the customer. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred during return shipment. We are only able to issue a credit note after the goods have been successfully returned.
Change of Mind
A request to return goods (except pond and dam liners) because of a change of mind must be made within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Freight charges must be paid by the customer for all change of mind returns.
Cancellation
No cancellation or partial cancellation of an order by the customer can be accepted by Love My Dam unless first consented in writing. Sometimes a cancellation charge will need to be paid by the customer. Cancellations cannot be accepted on goods that are not regular stock which are in the process of manufacture or ready for shipment.
Complaints
All complaints, claims, or notification of lost goods, incomplete goods, damaged goods, or goods that do not comply with your purchase order must be submitted to us in writing within 48 hours of the date of delivery. The exception is pond and dam liners which must be submitted to us immediately on receipt of the products. Otherwise, we will consider you to have accepted the items.
