Types of Water Probiotic Treatments 

There are many types of probiotic treatments you can get for water sources. Learn about each of them below:  

Liquid 

Biostim liquid is a 100% natural stimulant that feeds the good bacteria in the water. Similar to the way probiotics work in your gut, this treatment can reduce toxic waste by degrading sludge and outcompeting pathogenic bacteria. Each supplement contains microorganisms that work to restore your water and can help reduce slime layers with reverse osmosis units.

Pellets 

Biostim pellets are bio-stimulants that come in a hardened form rather than a liquid. Accelerator 

We also stock Biostim Accelerators, both in a 20L and a 5L. Accelerators are probiotic bio-catalysts, they work to enhance the effectiveness of probiotics and other natural degradation processes. They contain bacterial cultures, enzymes, fungi and stimulants to break down rotting algae and outcompete pathogenic bacteria that harm aquatic life. It’s worth using this product to increase the results of the probiotic supplements and to reduce how much herbicide or algaecide you use, if you go this route. Powder 

Biostim powder contains the same bacteria as the other probiotics, except it can spread more efficiently throughout the water. Biostim Powder is particularly good for very large waterbodies because it works out the most affordable at scale. The powder tackles the entire water column, with less of an emphasis on the floor alone.
