Rollgum EPDM Primer 1L
Rollgum primer is used in the joining installation or repair of EPDM rubber liner. The primer cleans and primes the surface of the EPDM liner in preparation for joining, seaming or patching repairs. The primer activates the liner surface prior to application of Rollgum seaming/joining tape. The result is a super durable seam, guaranteed to hold together.
How to use
Rollgum primer is best applied using a paint brush when used with all Rollgum liners. If using with other brands of EPDM liner such as Aquatough, Firestone or Elevate you’ll need to apply using a QuickScrubber. The primer is applied to both surfaces of your EPDM liner where the seam is to be joined. Rollgum seaming/joining tape can then be applied on top of the primer and used to join the two pieces of EPDM liner together. We suggest allowing 1L of Rollgum Primer per 15 linear metres of Rollgum seaming/joining tape .
About Rollgum
In 1969 Joan Palou started a waterproofing company in Díaz, Spain. Early in his entrepreneurial journey he met Michel De Knop, the Managing Director of Firestone’s European operations. This led to a thriving alliance and the first EPDM liner being installed in Spanish reservoirs in the 1970s. This liner, installed over 50 years ago, continues to hold its shape, quality and look to this day. Today, Rollgum is led by Joan Palou (son) who continues his father’s legacy, producing the highest quality EPDM liner from Rollgum’s manufacturing facilities in Barcelona, Spain. Rollgum’s pond and dam range includes high quality EPDM liners, as well as quick primers, sealants, adhesive tapes, and hand tools, for joining EPDM liner together. Rollgum is renowned for being unbeatable on quality when it comes to rubber-made products.
