Once you have completed the task of cutting your weeds, it’s time to get the DeSkuzzer out and into the water. The tool has been built specifically to make things as easy as possible when collecting your debris.

When you throw the tool into the water, make sure that the black bar appears over the surface. It will naturally remain above the water thanks to the two orange floats on either side. This prevents the black bar from skimming along the surface and moving (rather than collecting) the debris.

Does the DeSkuzzer 2.0 come in different sizes?

Currently the DeSkuzzer is only available in a single size. However, it is very effective and doesn’t take up too much energy to use. A larger product might mean that the eventual weight of the collected material becomes too heavy to dispose of.

What can I use to cut the weeds away first?

For marginal plants that are attached around the water’s edge, you can use our aquatic weed cutter to cut them away. For submerged plants that are growing in the sludge at the bottom of your pond or dam, you can use our Beachroller to churn up the roots and sludge before collecting what’s left.

Are there any maintenance needs for the DeSkuzzer 2.0?

There are no major maintenance issues to take care of. You will perhaps need to keep an eye on the rope to make sure there is no fraying after heavy use. And you’ll need to inspect the netting now and again to make sure there are no holes or punctures that will let the debris slip out.
