Matala Floating Fountain ⅓hp with 20m Cable
Matala floating fountains make an excellent addition to any pond, lake, or dam across Australia. The ⅓hp compressor pumps water out into one of several design patterns depending on which nozzle you select. The compact design is highly efficient and houses the powerful 180LPM (litres per minute) pump which sits low in the water.

You can also purchase Matala’s LED lights kit, specifically designed for the Matala fountain. The lighting kit features 3x10W white spotlights which brightly illuminate the fountain and the surrounding area. The lights come with a control box with a dual-timer controller that automatically turns the lights on and off, so you won’t have to worry about keeping your neighbours awake at night!
How To Install and Maintain Your Matala Floating Fountain
Installing your Matala floating dam fountain could not be more straightforward. It is designed with a plug and play system, meaning all you need to do once you’ve anchored your fountain to where you want it to go is plug it into your mains outlet.
In terms of maintenance, there are several tasks that we recommend carrying out on a regular basis. These include:

Checking the pump intake every few weeks. You will need to make sure the intake screen is clear from debris so that the flow of water is not disrupting.

Inspecting your nozzles. If one or more of your nozzles has some form of blockage through dust that has passed through the pump, you will get an uneven dispersal outcome, making the overall finish look a little untidy.

Checking your anchor lines to make sure there is no fraying at that your fountain remains securely in place.

Ensuring your water levels remain deep enough to keep the pump fully submerged (particularly during the summer months).

FAQs
Can I run my fountain 24/7?
Yes you can. We recommend keeping your fountain running as much as possible as this helps to negate the stop-start pressure on the motor and also keeps the water in a constant state of disruption.
Why is my spray pattern low or uneven?
This is almost always as a result of blockages within your nozzles rather than an issue with the motor. If you have multiple nozzles and one is blocked by debris, the outcome will always be a lopsided water display. To prevent this, carry out periodical checks on your nozzles and intake screen.
Can I leave my fountain in the pond during winter?
If you live in an area that experiences severe freezing periods, we recommend removing your fountain from the water during these times. This is because ice will expand against the motor housing, potentially causing pressure and cracking. You can still maintain water circulation through subsurface aeration.
Do you provide free shipping?
Yes - we provide free shipping to around 95% of Australian locations. There are some remote rural and island postcodes where we may need to apply additional shipping costs prior to dispatch. In these instances, we will notify you prior to dispatching.

Returns
Goods purchased from Love My Dam are unable to be returned without first reaching out to us and requesting a return. Unfortunately, returns cannot be made for pond and dam liners. No returns can be accepted unless a copy of the purchase invoice is enclosed with the returned item/s. Along with the goods and invoice, please include a list of the goods to be returned, including the product description, quantity, date of return and the customer’s name and address. The items must be returned in the original packaging. Freight charges for returns must be paid by the customer. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred during return shipment. We are only able to issue a credit note after the goods have been successfully returned.
Change of Mind
A request to return goods (except pond and dam liners) because of a change of mind must be made within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Freight charges must be paid by the customer for all change of mind returns.
Cancellation
No cancellation or partial cancellation of an order by the customer can be accepted by Love My Dam unless first consented in writing. Sometimes a cancellation charge will need to be paid by the customer. Cancellations cannot be accepted on goods that are not regular stock which are in the process of manufacture or ready for shipment.
Complaints
All complaints, claims, or notification of lost goods, incomplete goods, damaged goods, or goods that do not comply with your purchase order must be submitted to us in writing within 48 hours of the date of delivery. The exception is pond and dam liners which must be submitted to us immediately on receipt of the products. Otherwise, we will consider you to have accepted the items.
