Kupramine Algaecide (20L)
General information & treatment notes
Under field conditions, Kupramine is effective in controlling a wide spectrum of algae including: Chara, Spirogyra, Cladophora, Vaucheria, Ulothrix, Microcystis and Oscillatoria. For planktonic (suspended) algae and free floating filamentous algae mats, application rates should be based upon treating only the upper 50 to 100cm of water where algae is growing. Under heavy infestation treat only 1/2 to 1/3 of the water body at a time to avoid fish suffocation caused by oxygen depletion from decaying organic matter. Allow 2 weeks for oxygen levels to recover before repeat application of Kupramine. Kupramine is suitable for use on plants e.g. watering of sports grounds and ornamental plants.

Protection of wildlife, fish, crustaceans & the environment:
- Strictly for use in offline or artificial water systems away from natural aquatic environments.
- Do not use in water containing trout if the hardness of the water is less than 50 ppm.
- Do not use on areas where aquatic birds are feeding on algae.
- Kupramine may be toxic to Australian native fish or crustaceans. DO NOT use Kupramine in waters of any hardness containing these species UNLESS the algal infestation is itself posing a serious threat to them.
- Do not discharge Kupramine treated water into rivers or lakes without the authority of the appropriate State or Territory regulatory authority. Any approved discharge should be at least 21 days post treatment or two days after treatment and only under high flow conditions where the treated water will be diluted by greater than 1:650 as a result of the discharge.

We recommend using Kupramine in conjunction with Biostim Accelerator, a natural catalyst. This allows you to achieve the same result with less chemical. Biostim Accelerator radically improves the effectiveness of herbicides and algaecides by feeding bacterial populations which break down the slime layer that forms on plants and algae. This hard-to-penetrate slime layer is often the reason why so much chemical is needed in the first place—because you have to break through it to get the chemical in contact with the plant or algae. *We provide free shipping to 95% of Australia, but there are some locations (e.g. Island and remote rural post codes) which unfortunately we cannot provide this option. Although rare, in this situation we will need to manually add the additional shipping costs prior to dispatch. Return
Returns
Goods purchased from Love My Dam are unable to be returned without first reaching out to us and requesting a return. Unfortunately, returns cannot be made for pond and dam liners. No returns can be accepted unless a copy of the purchase invoice is enclosed with the returned item/s. Along with the goods and invoice, please include a list of the goods to be returned, including the product description, quantity, date of return and the customer’s name and address. The items must be returned in the original packaging. Freight charges for returns must be paid by the customer. The customer is responsible for any damage incurred during return shipment. We are only able to issue a credit note after the goods have been successfully returned.
Change of Mind
A request to return goods (except pond and dam liners) because of a change of mind must be made within 7 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Freight charges must be paid by the customer for all change of mind returns.
Cancellation
No cancellation or partial cancellation of an order by the customer can be accepted by Love My Dam unless first consented in writing. Sometimes a cancellation charge will need to be paid by the customer. Cancellations cannot be accepted on goods that are not regular stock which are in the process of manufacture or ready for shipment.
Complaints
All complaints, claims, or notification of lost goods, incomplete goods, damaged goods, or goods that do not comply with your purchase order must be submitted to us in writing within 48 hours of the date of delivery. The exception is pond and dam liners which must be submitted to us immediately on receipt of the products. Otherwise, we will consider you to have accepted the items.
