Biostim Liquid
Biostim Liquid is the fastest acting probiotic in the Biostim range. The solution spreads quickly through your entire water column and wakes the microbes up. These “good” microbes actively produce enzymes, speeding up the breakdown of organic waste, which clears the water of cloudy organic debris. The “good” bacteria also consume nutrients (e.g. nitrogen, phosphorus) in the water because they need to for their own survival. Fewer nutrients means less food available for pests like algae and aquatic weeds.
Biostim Powder
Biostim Powder effectively does the same thing as Biostim Liquid, however, the powder dissolves more slowly, so after dosing the water, a good amount of the powder accumulates on the floor of your dam. This ensures there is a dense population of “good” bacteria on the floor of your dam working hard to consume organic material that ends up there and will otherwise become sludge. Sludge is not just an icky feeling on the feet of swimmers, it’s a bedrock of fertiliser for algae and aquatic weeds. So, keeping on top of this from the get-go means less pests as well as a happier, healthier water body.

- Biostim Liquid: The Biostim Liquid product is the fastest-acting product we offer in the Biostim range. - Biostim Powder: The Biostim Powder has the same mechanism as the liquid, working to achieve the same aim, however, as well as passing through the water column, the powder will settle on the dam floor. This will ensure a denser population of “good” microbes on the dam floor to help you avoid a layer of sludge developing there. If sludge does develop there, not only does it make your dam slippery for swimmers, but it also feeds algae, weeds, and other pests. The Biostim Powder ensures you avoid this.
